When people realise that they have been given the ultimate gift, which is 'life', and they realise that what they do with their lives is completely their choice! When people take their lives into their own hands and do something extraordinary with it despite not so favourable odds. An issue that matters to me is [youth] leadership. As I observed the leadership pursuits of my peers, I saw how easily good intentioned-leaders became corrupted leaders, and how charismatic leaders became narcissistic. Some leaders that I admire in history are Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Nelson Mandela who not only voiced the many injustices against people of African descent, but who also called for equality for all.
